The Skeleton Coast in the northwest of the country is truly breathtaking: wild, rough and quite deserted. Reportedly it owes its name to the many ships that sank here over the centuries due to the stormy weather. The sailors who rescued themselves on land usually died of thirst because of the dryness of the area.
The 10 small chalets where you can stay overnight are designed just like the shipwrecks stranded on the coast, all are bright and minimalist and have a terrace where you can enjoy your sundowner with amazing views over the endless dunes.
Meals are served in the cosy, maritime restaurant. Highlight: the unique excursions in this remote area, for example to the seal colonies in Seagull Bay and to the shipwrecks.
