Hussnhof, Slow travel mit Kindern

A real paradise for families: The Hussnhof is located near Bad Tölz, on the edge of the village of Sachsenkam in the middle of the Upper Bavarian idyll. Alpacas, cows, chickens, cats and a dog live here.

In addition, Franz and Antonia Danner rent out three enchanting chalets where you can spend a wonderful holiday. When building the luxurious and very cosy holiday apartments, the couple attached great importance to the sustainable use of resources. For example, old woods from old barns were used, and the duvets are made of farmhouse alpaca wool. The electricity is completely generated by a photovoltaic system on the roof of the stable. And the water supply? Comes from the farm's own spring.

Perfect for relaxing: the sunny balconies or terraces of the chalets, the holiday apartment "Bergwiese" even has its own hot tub with a view of the mountains. Of course, each apartment has its own kitchen, but if you want, you can order the "bread roll service" and get your hot rolls delivered fresh in the morning.

And what can you do during the day? The children can play in the in-house adventure playground with a giant trampoline and Flying Fox and they are also welcome to help out in the barn and feed the calves. Especially the alpacas are happy to be stroked. And the big ones? They can enjoy the tranquillity in the comfortable loungers in the garden or treat themselves to a massage. Great: Every family is allowed to get fresh organic eggs from the chicken coop once a week. In summer, barbecue evenings are held on the courtyard terrace. The wood comes from the own forest, of course.

Price per apartment and day from about 220 Euro, www.hussnhof.de.
