The four-star Superior House is situated on a magnificent southern slope above Burgeis, from where you have a view over the valleys and the Ötztal Alps. Most beautiful place: the infinity pool with breathtaking views. And the spa with a clay barley, a panorama, a mountain herb and family saunas, with a Vinschger Cercial steam bath and a whirlpool. The rooms? Cosy and chic with lots of wood and colourful highlights.

    Local & seasonal food from farmers in the valley

    Outstanding: together with chef Rafael, hotelier Lukas Gerstl carefully selects the best suppliers from within a radius of 30 kilometres. The cooperation with regional producers supports farmers and agriculture in the valley and protects the environment through short transport routes. Once a week the hotel hosts the r30 day, on which only food from this area is used: the apple juice comes from Vinschgau, the seasonal vegetables from the local farmer and the meat from the regional butcher. The r30 principle covers the whole house: the building material is also local, if possible, and the cosmetic products are created with regional ingredients (double room from approx. 120 € p.p. incl. ¾ Pension, www.dasgerstl.com).
