Sustainable natural materials and fascinating designs: The label Agnes Nordenholz from Berlin skilfully combines tradition with modern fashion.

Agnes Schorer's love of natural materials is already in her genes: One of her great-grandfathers worked as a merchant in the wool business for one of the largest European wool companies. Another was a leather tanner and later a leather goods dealer. So it's no wonder that Agnes' favourite materials are wool, leather and lambskin! In 2015, after 14 years in Vienna, Agnes decided to follow her roots. She decided to move to Berlin, the city of her great-grandfather, and here she founded her own label Agnes Nordenholz, named after her great-grandmother's maiden name.

Natural materials meet unique design

From the very beginning, the focus of the brand has been on sheep as suppliers of high-quality natural materials - which "grow back" naturally. In addition to traditional materials such as naturally tanned leather, loden, linen and fur, Agnes Nordenholz stands for trend-setting design. The combination of tradition and modernity makes the creations so unique. Thanks to their unconventional shapes, the bags in particular are often reminiscent of small pieces of art and stand out clearly from the designs of other labels so often seen.

Modern European luxury

It is very important to the brand that these special pieces last a long time. This is ensured not only by the high quality of the raw materials used - which are certified by GOTS and Oeko Tex, among others - but also by the high standard of production. The bags are either handmade by her in her own studio in Berlin or come from a family-run manufactory where many work steps are carried out by hand. In addition, everything is "Made in Germany". Thus the label avoids long ways and can guarantee a fair production.
